MPD is a family-run specialist supplier of original, genuine VELCRO® Brand products to the trade, retail and industrial markets, and since 1990 we have continued to expand to become the UK’s leading distributor dedicated to the VELCRO® Brand. Our philosophy has always been to offer the full range of very best quality hook and loop products available combined with friendly and efficient customer service to ensure we can meet the needs of you, our customers.
Lead by founders Carl and Lynda Gibbons and the next generation Emily & Sam most of the office is made up of family members. Heidi is usually the first on the ‘phone and although she isn’t a ‘Gibbons’ the office wouldn’t be the same without her! As a whole the office, warehouse and fabrication teams make up the MPD family. We are all devoted to ensuring our customers receive the level of service and care you would hope to receive from any specialist.
We can convert quickly & in-house!
Our conversion capabilities have continued to expand year on year and with the extensive range of stock available off-the-shelf we’re able to offer bespoke solutions to any fastening conundrum, whether it be in the form of a specific shape, a made-to-measure strap or a particular pack size/quantity, to suit your requirements. We’re able to straight cut and die cut pieces to your dimensions (single & mated), if you’re looking for a custom strap these can either be sewn or welded – all in-house! We’re able to keep lead times low whilst maintaining the high standards our customers have come to expect from us, no matter the order size.
