We are the leading UK distributor of VELCRO® Brand products and have been supplying both the trade and the retail consumer markets with VELCRO® Brand products since 1990. Our aim is to provide you with an excellent and unrivalled service by combining expert advice, high quality products and competitive prices.

The benefits of registering your details are:

Your contact details will be stored on our secure server so next time you sign in there will be no need to enter them again; you can, however, amend your contact information should any of the details change. If you have a different delivery address this will also be stored for recall next time.

Once you have registered and signed in using your chosen user-name and password, a ‘My Account’ link will appear on the home page giving you access to your contact and delivery information, it is here that any amendments can be made to your details.

Also shown on the ‘My Account’ page is a list of your previous orders with the option of viewing the full details of each order including billing and delivery address information, product quantities, price and even delivery method. Using the ‘Order Again’ button you can place your chosen order directly into the basket where you will be able to alter any of the product or address information if you need to.

As a member you will receive email notification of the special offers currently available on the site and also any additional ‘members only’ offers that may be available.

On all special offer emails you receive from us there will be an option to unsubscribe if you do not want to receive any further offers.

If you have an approved credit account with MPD or you are a school, college or other local authority organisation we can accept your e-mailed official order without the need for pre-payment.

With such a wide variety of products available the choice can be a bit daunting, especially if your application requires specific characteristics regarding adhesive type or connection strength.  Give us a call on 01373 827111 and we will happily offer you the advice you need; if you call outside office hours (8.30am -5.30pm) please leave a message and we will get back to you.

The hook is the rougher, scratchy part and the loop is the softer, fluffy part. You will need both parts to make a fastening.

We stock 5 main adhesives suitable for the vast majority of applications

The PS14 adhesive is a general purpose rubber resin based product; it is a strong and reliable adhesive suitable for thousands of everyday applications to most surfaces including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Cardboard, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Formica (polished side) Polyester and Polyacrylic. It will also stick to Polyethylene and Polypropylene. It will NOT adhere well to PVC, Vinyl and anything containing plasticizers. Operating temperature range is -15°C to +90°C. This is the adhesive used on the range of VELCRO® brand products in the Stick-on retail packs. (The Heavy Duty retail packs use the PS51/PS52 adhesives)

The PS15 (FLAME RETARDANT) adhesive is a general purpose rubber block copolymer adhesive used extensively in the aviation industry, it has excellent tack and is ideal for use on Polyethylene and Polypropylene but is also suitable for application to most other surfaces including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Cardboard, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Formica (polished side) Polyester, Polyacrylic. It will NOT adhere well to PVC, Vinyl and anything containing plasticizers. Operating temperature range is -15°C to +60°C. This product can be supplied with a Certificate of Compliance if required and meets F.A.R. 25.853, MVSS302 and ATS 1000.001.

The PS18 adhesive is a high tack water based acrylic polymer adhesive recommended for use on PVC, Vinyl and other substrates containing plasticizers and is the best adhesive to use if you are sticking onto cardboard; it is also suitable for application to most other surfaces including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Formica (polished side) Polyester and Polyacrylic. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +120°C so this product is very good for use on Foamex boards and at exhibitions where heat from lighting can cause adhesives to soften. It is not suitable for use on Polyethylene or Polypropylene.

The PS30 adhesive is a general purpose rubber block copolymer adhesive found mainly, but not exclusively, on the low profile hook and velour loop products, it has excellent tack and is ideal for use on Polyethylene and Polypropylene but is also suitable for application to most other surfaces including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Cardboard, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Formica (polished side) Polyester, Polyacrylic. It will NOT adhere well to PVC, Vinyl and anything containing plasticizers. Operating temperature range is -15°C to +60°C.

The Heavy Duty (PS51 and PS52) adhesives are extremely strong rubber resin based products ideal for use on uneven or rough surfaces and where a very secure, semi-permanent fixing is required; they are suitable for application to most surfaces including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Cardboard, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Formica (polished side) Polyester and Polyacrylic. They will also stick to Polyethylene and Polypropylene. They will NOT adhere well to PVC, Vinyl and anything containing plasticizers. Operating temperature range is -15°C to +90°C. These are very strong adhesives and are ideal for use on uneven or rough surfaces and where a semi-permanent fixing is required. These are the adhesives used on the  products in the Heavy Duty retail packs.

We use various delivery methods depending on order value; you will be able to select your preferred delivery method in the Shopping Basket window. Please note that any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday (Tuesday when Monday is a Bank Holiday)

For UK mainland customers

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery

Although not guaranteed, deliveries are usually made during the next working day (working days are Monday to Friday).  Guaranteed deliveries can be made via Royal Mail Special Delivery and can be specified for delivery before 9.00am or before 1.00pm on the next working day. Special Delivery orders sent out on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday (Tuesday when Monday is a Bank Holiday).

DPD Local

All consignments sent via DPD Local are on a next working day service (working days are Monday to Friday) and are fully trackable through the DPD Local website, you can also receive e-mail and text notifications of expected delivery time. Please note that orders placed on a Friday (before 4.00pm) will be delivered on the following Monday (Tuesday when Monday is a Bank Holiday), if you need a Saturday delivery please call us to check service availability;  Saturday deliveries are available to most destinations. Premium services include timed deliveries for before 10.30am and before 12.00 noon, you can select the service you require in the Shopping Basket window.  Some of the 24hr and premium services may not be available to some areas of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

MPD / Collection

For our local customers we will often make the delivery ourselves; alternatively, you are welcome to collect your order from us. If you want to collect please select that option from the ‘choose delivery method’ box in the Shopping Basket window and use the ‘delivery notes’ box in the checkout section to tell us when you would like to collect.

For International customers

For deliveries outside the UK but within Europe we use the Royal Mail International signed for service and the international couriers UPS or DHL.

For deliveries beyond Europe please contact us for a shipping quote.

If we receive your order before 4.00pm Monday to Friday, and the items you require are in stock, we will despatch your order the same day. If you have an urgent requirement and are unable to meet the 4.00pm order deadline, please give us a call on 01373 827111 and we will be able to let you know if immediate despatch is going to be possible.

Please note that any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday (Tuesday when Monday is a Bank Holiday).

The cost of delivery will depend on the value of your order and where you are located. The price will change if you select an alternative delivery method in the cart.

Give us a call, if we have made a mistake we’ll apologise and send out the correct goods immediately along with pre-paid packaging for the return of the incorrectly supplied items.

Please print out and complete a goods returns form and send it back to us with the unwanted items, then just give us a call or e-mail us to let us know that you will be returning the order to us. Upon receipt of the unwanted items (assuming they are unused and undamaged) we will credit your card to the value of the returned goods. Any return costs of incorrectly ordered, unwanted or non-faulty products will be the responsibility of the customer and our original delivery charge is non-refundable.

If the order is for a bespoke or made to order item we are unable to accept the return.

Please print out and complete a goods returns form and send it back to us with the unwanted items, then just give us a call or e-mail us to let us know that you will be returning the order to us and give us details of the replacement items you require and we will process a new order for the correct goods which will need to be paid for in the usual way. Upon receipt of the unwanted items (assuming they are unused and undamaged) we will credit your card to the value of the returned goods. Any return costs of incorrectly ordered or non-faulty products will be the responsibility of the customer and our original delivery charge is non-refundable.
